The last quarter of the year has always been my busiest so I felt like I was caught up in the matrix when September rolled around. Feeling unorganized and overwhelmed, I went to Best Buy to check out the software section for organizational and management tools (as well as a laptop cord..my dog chewed mine) and ended up in the IPAD 2 section.
My initial thought was, ‘If I get an ipad, I won’t have to carry this big ole lap top everywhere I go’. So after asking a few questions with the nice sales guy, I was sold. I bought one and a few extra tools:
A 16 GB High Speed SD Card
IPAD Camera Connection Kit (Girls gotta be able to upload her camera photos on the scene)
Logitech Keyboard and case (Prop your IPAD up and pow…a small lap top on the go)
Sprint Overdrive Hotspot
This is where it gets interesting. IPADs come in two variations. The 3G and Wi-fi. With 3G you can pick up internet anywhere there is ATT service as long as you pay the monthly fee of about 45 bucks for unlimited data. The sales guy told me if I get the Wi-Fi version, I would save money on the price (the Wi-Fi version is $100 cheaper) and I could buy a hot spot which would allow me to pick up internet anywhere. My home computers and lap tops while traveling have the ability to pick up internet on the hot spot as well. It’s like a small wireless modem that you carry in your purse. I was sold on this because internet in hotel rooms do not come cheap. The monthly subscription for the Hotspot was $35 bucks. A steal. At the register I was told, I saved an additional $100 bucks because of a promotion that was running on the Hotspot/IPAD combination. #Winning.

I’m all set up… what’s next. Gotta download some apps
