The Fearless Fund x Tory Burch WOC Grant has recently announced their 2022 finalists, and we are ecstatic to learn that My Happy Flo is one of their $10,000 grant recipients.
This grant, founded by fashion designer Tory Burch founder of the Tory Burch Foundation, The Fearless Foundation, a 501c3 organization that increases entrepreneurial education, and Goldman Sachs One Million Black Women, whose goal is to impact the lives of at least one million Black women by 2030, awarded over 100 small businesses with grants ranging from $10,000 to $20,000. They also partnered with The Cru, a peer coaching platform that allows individuals to connect, collaborate, and support one another regardless of geography. Through this collaboration, grant recipients will receive an annual membership and funding to provide them with access to capital, education, and training.
Applications for The Fearless Fund x Tory Burch WOC Grant opened in January, with finalists notified the first week of April. To be eligible, applicants had to identify as a woman of color, operate in a for-profit industry for one to five years with annual minimum revenue of $100,000, and be formed under the United States law.

My Happy Flo Founder, Necole Kane, said, “Periods are not supposed to be painful. And with My Happy Flo, it doesn’t have to be. Thank you so much to The Cru, The Fairless Fund, and Tory Burch for this amazing grant! It’s going to help us on our mission to educate more women of color about their hormone health and their menstrual cycles.”
“Over 80% of women suffer from hormonal imbalances manifesting in heavy, painful periods. And these heavy, painful periods are affecting their mental health, their self-esteem, their intimacy, their job performance, and how they show up in the world. We want to help them take their life back, and this grant will help us to do so.”
