Most of you know my story⁣⁣
⁣⁣
I was broke, homeless, grieving the loss of my parents and living out of an aunt’s guest room when I launched a celebrity gossip blog in 2008⁣⁣
⁣⁣
The website became one of the most well-known and successful entertainment news sites online over the next 7 years however I felt extremely unfulfilled by the road life had taken me down. I wanted more. I wanted purpose and a life filled with joy and intention so I took a huge risk and decided to close the site down at the height of its success. ⁣⁣

I went on to launch xoNecole.com, a women’s lifestyle and empowerment platform in 2015⁣⁣.
⁣⁣
Two years later, that site was acquired.⁣⁣
⁣⁣
There were a lot of couches slept on, financial difficulties, and moments of rock bottom along the way, but I kept pulling myself back up every time I was knocked down. Beyonce’s Freedom is my theme song “Imma keep running because a winner don’t quit on themselves.” Those really low points in life will make you question everything but they are the test that will eventually lead to the testimony.
Thank you to BET Her for highlighting my story ❤️❤️⁣
